Hi, I'm Lin Thomas

I’m endlessly curious, forever collecting ideas and happiest when I’m making something new.

I’ve spent much of my working life creating, writing, teaching and experimenting — from books and courses to websites, artwork and all sorts of creative projects.

But the thing that has always fascinated me most is that little moment when an idea in your head starts becoming something real.

That’s really what Dreaming2Doing is about.

Imagine it. Create it. See where it leads.

Why Dreaming2Doing?

I’m one of those people who can disappear down a creative rabbit hole simply because something catches my imagination. I love discovering new ways to create, trying them for myself and seeing what happens.

Sometimes I make something useful. Sometimes something beautiful. Sometimes something slightly unexpected. And sometimes I make something simply because it makes me smile.

Dreaming2Doing is where I can share those things — along with the ideas, resources and little creative treasures I discover along the way.

What you’ll find here

At the moment I’m particularly enjoying creating resources for junk journaling, scrapbooking and vision boarding. So you’ll find plenty of things to print, cut out, collect, arrange and make your own.

Junk Journaling Papers, ephemera, journal pieces and printable treasures. Scrapbooking Pretty papers, creative pieces and inspiration for your pages. Vision Boards Images, affirmations and inspiration for dreaming about what comes next.

Most importantly, I want this to be somewhere you can wander around, find something that catches your eye and think, “Ooh, I’d like to make something with that.”

You don’t need a grand plan.
Sometimes curiosity is reason enough to begin.

A little more about me

I’ve had quite a varied life and career. I’ve worked in sales, trained as a therapist, written books, created courses, built websites and explored more business and creative ideas than I could possibly count.

These days I’m much less interested in building something enormous just for the sake of it. I’m more interested in spending my time doing things I enjoy, continuing to learn, following my curiosity and making things that other people might enjoy too.

And yes, I’m still fascinated by whether creative ideas can sometimes become useful little income streams. But they don’t all have to.

Some things are worth making simply because you loved making them.
